Buckshot Film Festival is the creation of a group of artisans who want to see independent short film making nurtured in south western Victoria. With our partners, Port Fairy Film Society & Warrnambool's F Project Cinema, we seek to provide a forum for films by local, national and international film makers.

Port Fairy and Warrnambool are located on the coast of south west of Victoria, in Australia. A mere 25 minutes apart, the half-way mark is a volcanic crater, Tower Hill, now a wildlife reserve. Buckshot is a geological feature of volcanic areas - these small gravel–like iron rocks join our places together.
The Buckheads are James Russell, Emily Bissland, Gareth Colliton, Emma Charlton.
